TRAILblazers scholarship

Success! Your request has been sent and a SRA representative will be in contact soon.

Sugar Research Australia has offered one scholarship for an established or senior sugar industry leader to attend the Training Rural Australians in Leadership (TRAIL) Blazers eight day residential course in Canberra from 26 October – 2 November 2015.  Facilitated by the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation (ARLF), this course is designed for experienced leaders who currently hold a senior position in agriculture.

The program aims to build the capacity of rural leaders, expand their leadership frameworks, establish new relationships, and develop a fresh perspective on how to resolve complex issues for rural Australia.  Recently successful TRAILblazers recipients have been Dr Graham Bonnett (CSIRO), Dr Geoff Kent (QUT) and Ms Suzi Moore (CANEGROWERS) who have all described the TRAILblazers course as a valuable career development opportunity.

The scholarship placement includes course registration fees, return airfares, and accommodation the night before and after the course in Canberra.

For more information, please contact the SRA RFU on (07) 3331 3333 or visit the ARLF website for specific TRAILblazers course related information.
